Hendrikson &amp; Ko provides a large variety of services related to acoustics and noise (modelling with special software, expert assessments, surveys etc.).<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-el wp-block-heading\">Services we offer for our clients:<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"wp-el\">\n<li>Strategic noise maps and action plans to reduce noise \u2013 compiled for highways and bigger cities;<\/li>\n<li>Noise surveys for large infrastructure objects (in SEA\/EIA process) \u2013 highways, airports, wind farms, racing tracks, industrial objects;<\/li>\n<li>Noise surveys and consultations for different development projects and spatial plans (inc noise surveys for detailed plans);<\/li>\n<li>Noise level measuring<\/li>\n<li>Vibration assessments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-el wp-block-heading\">Environmental noise modelling, strategic and local noise map compiling:<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-el\">Hendrikson &amp; Ko compiles strategic\/local noise maps using approved environmental noise modelling software. We are able to model various sources of noise using special software adjusted specially for that source:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-el\">\n<li>Traffic, industrial, military and mining noise modelling with SoundPLAN (Braunstein+Berndt GmbH):<\/li>\n<li>Air traffic modelling with Integrated Noise Model (USA Federal Aviation Administration);<\/li>\n<li>For wind farm impact assessments and noise map compiling we use WindPRO (EMD International A\/S Denmark). In addition, we compile wind farm related shading assessments with modelling and visualisations (photomontage) for planned wind farms.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-el wp-block-heading\">In the process of compiling noise maps and expert assessments we follow these normative legal documents:<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"wp-el\">\n<li>EU directive 2002\/49\/EC;<\/li>\n<li>Degree nr. 42 by Minister of Social Affairs on March 4th, 2002 \u2013 \u201cNoise Standards for Residential and Leisure Areas, Residential and Communal Buildings and Methods for Noise Measurements\u201d;<\/li>\n<li>Degree nr. 87 by Minister of Social Affairs on June 29th, 2005 \u2013 \u201cMinimum Standards for Strategic Ambient Air Noise Maps and Noise Reduction Action Plans \u201c;<br \/>\n\u2022 Ambient Air Protection Act;<\/li>\n<li>Other legal documents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-el wp-block-heading\">Results from modelling are presented according to the specific need:<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"wp-el\">\n<li>Calculated noise levels in noise sensitive areas:<br \/>\n\u2013 equivalent noise level LpAeq (dB). day time (07.00-23.00) and night time (23.00-07.00);<br \/>\n\u2013 maximum noise level LpAmax (dB).<\/li>\n<li>Graphical noise maps (noise contours);<\/li>\n<li>Difference maps for noise levels:<br \/>\n\u2013 current state\/future prediction;<br \/>\n\u2013 current state\/change after noise barrier construction.<\/li>\n<li>Three-dimensional (3D) noise maps in suitable forms:<br \/>\n\u2013 3D noise maps on basic maps;<br \/>\n\u2013 3D noise maps on ortophotos.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Noise\u00a0is an important aspect in many developments and situations.
